Asham Connemaras & Sporthorses are proud to offer our stunning stallion 'Asham Duntroon'.

With the possibility of adding a young colt to our breeding programme we cannot do justice to 3 purebred Connemara stallions.

Asham Duntroon is a son of the undisputed 'King of Connemara ponies in Australia' Castle Baron (IRE) from a mare by the imported Danish stallion Oxenholm Gideon. He is a product of the amazing Glenormiston Connemaras and the late Sue Clarke who introduced so many quality ponies to Australia.

Asham Duntroon has progeny competing in all of the Olympic Disciplines as well as in riding school and therapy schemes and his purebred son Asham Darragh is a young colt purchased by Charles Sturt University to continue their breeding ventures.

Asham Duntroon is broken to saddle but has not been ridden for a number of years. He is trained to serve in hand, collect for chilled semen and is also at home in a paddock environment with his mares.

He stands 14.1hh, is 13 years old and is N/N for HWSD, he is also registered with both the CPBSA and the APSB.
