BARRINGA RILEY is a stunning rising 5 year old Section D Welsh Cob gelding, standing approximately 14.2hh.

Riley is an exceptional young horse with a bright future ahead of him. Whether you’re looking for a quality show mount, an adult riding horse, or a lovely all-round pleasure horse, Riley has all the attributes to excel. He has three correct, uphill paces and is responsive, willing, and attentive to his rider’s aids. He moves freely forward from the leg while remaining sensible and eager to please.

Although exceptionally quiet for his age, Riley is still green due to his youth and would be best suited to a home with experience producing young horses. With the right person and continued education, he has enormous potential.

Riley has been confidently handled by a 9-year-old child and is always respectful of his size. He is easy to catch and will happily meet you at the gate. He stands quietly tied, is a pleasure to groom, tack up, rug and un-rug, and has excellent manners at feed time. He is a good doer and is up to date with his farrier, dental care and worming.

He has been lightly shown in hand, already earning several broad ribbons.

Professionally started under saddle, Riley was then given time to mature in the paddock before returning to work. He is now back in regular work and available for viewing.

Riley is a genuinely sweet-natured horse who has been much loved by the entire family. This is a very regretful sale and is only due to the owners’ time constraints with a young family.
