Rylie is offered for your consideration on behalf of her owners due to time restrictions and growing family commitments. Rylie is a sweet natured mare and has been a pleasure to handle while she’s been with us. She is easy to catch, wash, float, brush etc and stands patiently while she is tied up.

Rylie was purchased from her breeder by her current owners and was professionally started in November 2025 as a 4yr old with Marlem Equine. She has since been lightly ridden predominantly for pleasure at her owners property and out on trail rides in the bush, with her owners also popping beginner friends on for a walk around from time to time.

She has a solid basic education and works kindly undersaddle being more than happy to work on a loose rein. Rylie is responsive your aids, including your voice as well as your seat which makes her an enjoyable, straight forward mare to ride. She has a soft mouth and an excellent stop, with an established rein back. She is also quite happy to stay underneath you at the pace you want to go without running off. While she’s been with us, Rylie has proven to be trainable and has been introduced to softening into more of a ‘contact’ and is learning to work in a rounder frame. She has also been working on more balance in the canter, moving laterally off the leg and holding more inside bend around the circle.

Rylie has been ridden out on trail rides around our property both by herself and with another horse, and has been sensible and is a good walker. My arena is situated in close proximity to a road and she is unbothered by the traffic including motorbikes. Rylie is confident to pop over trot poles and small jumps without hesitation, and has begun learning to open and close a gate.

Due to her rideability, and her sensible and patient nature, i believe with further schooling Rylie would suit a multitude of disciplines from western disciplines through to Pony Club, Working Equitation or simply to enjoy as a Pleasure or Trail Riding horse. She is unspoilt and a blank canvas ready to take in your desired direction. In saying this although Rylie is quiet and sensible, she is still a young horse and requires a capable rider to continue educating her in their chosen discipline, therefore i don’t believe she is suitable for beginners or nervous riders. Rylie would also be a quality addition to any breeding program further down the track with her performance bloodlines.

Rylie is up to date with her teeth, worming, Tetanus/Strangles vaccination and trimming (barefoot). She does have scaring on her nearside hind leg from a paddock accident as a young horse, however this hasn’t affected her as a ridden horse.
