Lucky is a kind, uncomplicated Thoroughbred who has taken beautifully to life after racing. He’s not a “superstar” dressage horse — he’s the sort that tries, stays relaxed, and makes you feel comfortable.  He does however have loads of scope over a jump and is super brave.

He has been produced quietly and correctly by a lovely, sensible young rider, attending Pony Club days and clinics, and often heading out confidently on trails and camps. He handles new environments well and is happy to load up and go out anywhere .  What you see is what you get — a straightforward, honest horse.

He has confidently jumped to 90cm with scope to continue, and would keep developing with the right rider.

Lucky is easy to catch, float, wash and shoe. He’s simple to manage and pleasant to have around the stable.

He is for sale as his current rider is stepping onto our more advanced horses, and he’s ready to be someone else’s fun and competitive partner.

He would suit an amateur rider, Pony Club home, young eventer or someone on a sensible budget wanting a genuine, trainable Thoroughbred to enjoy and grow with.
