Known as Spider at home, he has become my Mr Reliable. He is genuinely willing and unproblematic. A mature mind which makes it easy to forget he's only at the beginning of his career and ready to be shaped into whatever his next family want of him.

He adapts to his rider, with a natural preference to be relaxed and uncomplicated but will happily spark up when asked. Because of this, I believe he would be a fantastic partner for a competitive young rider looking for a genuine, reliable horse to enjoy success with.

Spider is competing at 95cm eventing, has successfully completed the 1m classes at Boneo and is consistently scoring 70% on the flat, regularly leading the class after dressage. With his ability, attitude and willingness to learn, I believe he has the potential to progress through the levels with the right partner, with the goal of tackling the 1* at Melbourne International 3 Day Event.

He had the first half of the season off while I focused on my other horse, but he has certainly made up for lost time since coming back out:

Spider is competitive, uncomplicated, willing, and genuinely loves his job. He has brought home amble prize money, while still enjoying the occasional plod around along the way.

This sale is through absolutely no fault of his own. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to do two horses justice, and it feels a waste for a horse this competitive, capable and easy-going not to be someone's number one priority.
