Jonnie is a quality, well-schooled gelding who has been a much-loved partner for the past 7 years. He has taken me from my first competitions at 65cm through to confidently and competitively competing at EvA95, proving himself to be a genuine and capable allrounder.

With the recent purchase of my next horse to move up the levels, I unfortunately do not have the time to keep two horses in work. Jonnie is fit, experienced, and ready to continue on with his next rider.

He would be perfectly suited to a rider looking for a competitive and confidence giving partner in lower-level eventing or showjumping. He has a fantastic attitude to his work, absolutely loves competing—especially cross country—and always tries his heart out. As he is an OTTB he is not suited to complete beginners as he can get excited, however this is completely manageable.

Jonnie is easy to catch, shoe, and float, and is a pleasure to handle both at home and at competitions. He is a straightforward ride with a solid foundation, making him an excellent option for someone wanting to step up or gain experience on a genuine horse.

This is an extremely difficult sale of a horse who has been my best friend, and I am committed to finding him a kind, knowledgeable home where he will continue to be appreciated and enjoy his job.
