Competitive Showjumper

Major Rossi, 12 yr old OTTB Gelding. Standing at 16.2hh. Sound.

Major Rossi is a big, bold and careful showjumper, rarely knocking a rail. Currently competing at 90/95SJ, Novice dressage and has evented previously to EVA80.

While Rossi has had successful eventing starts, his talent and suitability is in showjumping. He will thrive in a competitive showjumping home, he has the scope and talent to continue up the heights. He also has a lovely work ethic. Limited outings this year due to rider being overseas.

NCTHA November 2025 EVA80: 1st Place
SportHorse Combined Training 90cm October 2025: 1st Place
Northside Riding Combined Training 95cm August 2025: 6th place
Quirindi April 2025 EVA80: 9th Place
Sydney Showjumping Competition Day 85cm: 1st place
Quirindi October 2024 EVA65: 5th Place
Denman 2024 EVA65: 7th Place (first event)

Unfortunately due to a change in life circumstances I have decided to sell him. I have owned Rossi since he’s been off the track, and has always been jumped under professional supervision. He is currently based and ridden by a professional showjumper on the Central Coast NSW.

Please note: Rossi can be horse shy, especially in warmup arenas, this is easily managed but due to this needs an experienced home. Many more photos and videos on request.
