8yo Welsh Mountain pony mare.

Successfully shown in hand in breed and hunter classes. Lovely solid and large bodied pony.

Effie has had limited work over her years. She has been ridden irregularly and mostly by an unadventurous and slightly older adult, who has been pretty happy to walk and trot around the paddock and along trails. Effie is a little anxious, overthinking things when working in an arena but this may just be that she needs a better rider that provides more guidance. Gets tense and will rush in this situation, no difficulties halting, just find it difficult to regulate and maintain her pace. No nasties. Beautiful expressive trot when working, has shown willingness and potential over small jumps.

Super easy to catch. Good to handle, wash, float, feet trim. Happy to stand and be fussed over.

Not currently a kids pony. Effie has never really had consistent work or much exposure outside of her home base.

Would love to see her go to a home that is able to provide consistency, training and exposure.
