Cricket – a 9-year-old, 16.1hh bay Thoroughbred gelding. Known at home as a real character and companion, Cricket is now looking for his next person. He has three lovely, balanced paces and would suit a confident teenager stepping up from ponies, or an adult rider looking for a kind, fun, and honest partner to enjoy out hacking. He thrives on one-on-one attention and loves being the centre of someone’s world, the ultimate "pet pony" who enjoys cuddles and care. He’s gentle with children and has often been handled by non-horsey friends with ease.

Cricket is a pleasure to ride, both in and out of the arena:
* Hacks out alone or in company with no issues, no jig-jogging, no napping.
* Has been regularly ridden to the beach most days after being worked and is happy in water, not worried about waves etc.
* Great with gates, dogs, and traffic, a calm and willing hacking companion.
* Comfortable bareback in a halter, and goes kindly in a loose ring snaffle under saddle.

In the three months he’s been in my care, Cricket has been an absolute gem, easy to handle with no vices. He’s barefoot with strong feet (unusual for a TB!), and currently requires only one hard feed per day alongside consistent access to forage. He paddocks happily alone or in a herd, with no separation anxiety or attachment issues.

Cricket is good at the following, plus more:
* Tack up, clip, trim/be shod
* Float/truck
* Handle for the dentist and farrier.
