George was almost purchased by the first person who came and saw/ rode him! But unfortunately she had a change in personal circumstances, so she isn’t in the market for a horse.

Where are all the people that want a horse with ABSOLUTELY NO FUSS..

George had a very exciting start to life! He was seriously impressive on the track in his early career and there were even whispers of a 2019 Melbourne Cup at one point. 🏆

Unfortunately, George didn’t quite make it to Flemington… instead, he discovered his true calling:

Being a bloke who would really rather have an easy life.

His racing career ended up being considerably quieter than initially predicted, and eventually this handsome gentleman found his way to me.

George is a proper dude, light on the lead, stands with absolutely no fuss in the barn, and I cannot fault him Under-saddle.

George is VERY easy going, he is very well gaited and has a lovely walk, trot and canter. George is ridden in a snaffle bridle and carries himself in a soft frame.

He is absolutely no fuss to take off the property and ride, he is excellent to float, self loads, stands in the float like a total gentleman he is so still and quiet it’s hard to remember he’s on board.

George did suffer a tendon injury on the track many years ago, so his near fore tendon does appear a little thicker than his off side. George had remained sound on this leg and I’d expect him to continue doing so. This doesn’t require any ongoing treatments!

I see George loving life in a low level home, such as being a pleasure horse or even a trail riding horse. A nice low key life for a low key dude.

George is currently paddocked in a small herd. George is also very happy barefoot.
