Leggy is a versatile mount, having competed successfully at ASH branch shows, ag shows and ARC shows. He has also competed in low level show jumping on occasion and attended clinics. He happily participates in all classes, including the Show Ring, Working, Time Trial, Station Horse and Mount Most Suitable.

Leggy is an uncomplicated ride who carries himself in a natural frame. He is a soft, balanced and willing mount who tries hard to please. He is sensible and confidence giving, but in a busy environment he can sometimes be forward moving. Therefore, he would be best suited to an intermediate rider rather than a beginner.

Leggy is a very easy horse to take away, alone or with other horses. He is excellent to transport, stable, prepare and handle in every way. At home Leggy is unphased by the antics of small children and is used to dogs and machinery. He trail rides, moves stock and doesn’t require a lot of work to bring him in, or keep him going. He is also an extremely good doer.

Leggy does have a small superficial scar on his hind leg. This is an old scar and has not affected his soundness or show performance in any way. Photos can be provided upon request and a vet check is welcome.

This is a difficult sale of a very genuine and much-loved family horse who has been with us since he was a 3yo. He has brought us much pleasure in the time that we have owned him and will only be sold to the best of homes.
