16.3 8yo gelding by Tuffontein. This superstar won over a million dollar in the Cumani stables, and he certainly knows he is a bit special!

I really rate this horse. He is smart, athletic, rideable and very self assured.

We work closely with his trainers who are terrific and have shared all his vet history which we can discuss with potential buyers.

A while ago we had a horse in Dash, who is now jumping some bigger tracks with his young rider, and this horse gives a similar feel to Dash. He isn’t a “first big horse” as he is a proper horse, however there is something a bit special about him.

Khoekhoe last raced December 12th, in his career he had 45 starts 7-6-3. He was delivered to us by Holly, his main track rider who absolutely loves him, and we certainly can see why.

Naturally a very balanced horse, he gives a lovely ride and has three nice paces with a great canter.

Khoekhoe is quite self assured and confident with things, he was a touch noise sensitive and we have found the bonnet/ hood has helped here. The last two weeks we have ridden him without it and he has really settled into his new role away from the track.

We think Khoekhoe could thrive in a show jumping, eventing, dressage or hunting home. With a canter like this we would is nice on the flat and rideable over a fence.

He has a few easily managed quirks, he is not suited to a nervous, novice rider or inexperienced home.
