Kind All Rounder - Spartan

Spartan, 15.1 hh Black Stockhorse Gelding (unregistered) 13years old. 

Well educated, with great laterals, flying changes, responsive to aids & experience across multiple disciplines. 

Loves to trail ride or a challenge, has attended Pony Club and low grade events. 

Whist he can jump quite well, he needs a rider who will be firm with him in that aspect. Soft mouth & ridden in a snaffle, beautiful movement & transitions including walk to canter, canter to holt.  Easy to work in a frame. Can be a little looky when fresh but absolutely no dirt.

Loves people and other horses, great to catch / shoe, can take a minute to get on the float but just needs and experienced hand. Currently shod on his fronts, was barefoot over Winter with no problems. 

He is sensitive and gains his confidence from his rider and for this reason he will only be sold to a knowledgeable home, preferably where he will be ridden by one person with whom he can build a partnership. A very loved & sweet boy, who will only be sold to the best of homes.  Up date with teeth, worm, vax, feet.  Vet checks welcome.
