Mable - sensible and talented OTT

Mable is a cracking 10-year-old, 15hh  bay Thoroughbred mare with a cruisey, affectionate temperament and all the ingredients to make a fantastic all-rounder. Mable has been ott for 5 years now. She has started her showjumping journey as of March this year and is currently competing at 80cm in showjumping with excellent technique, plenty of scope, and the ability to progress higher. Brave, willing, and naturally competitive, Mable loves her job and is always keen to give new things a go.

She is established in walk, trot, and canter with a soft, easy rhythm, making her an enjoyable ride both in the arena and out on the trails. With previous owners, Mable lived on a cattle station where she did mechanical cow work and working equitation, giving her a well-rounded foundation.

Mable has also done extensive trail riding and is exceptionally sensible in a variety of environments. She is confident around dogs, cattle, chickens, bicycles, runners, cars, trucks, and suburban surroundings. She is happy to ride in company and does not become strong or competitive around other horses, happily maintaining a relaxed trot or canter.

She does not buck, bolt, rear, kick, pull back, or have any nasty vices. She is neither horse-shy nor head-shy and is a straightforward mare to handle and ride.

On the ground, Mable is a pleasure in every way. She is easy to float, shoe, worm, wash, and handle for all routine care. She’s an easy keeper and a good doer who loves her food. She currently lives in a mixed herd of mares and geldings and gets along well with everyone. Mable is not marey, settles easily into new groups, and is happy around unfamiliar horses.

Mable is a genuine, versatile mare with a kind nature, a solid foundation, and plenty of potential to excel in a variety of disciplines. She would suit someone looking for a fun, reliable partner to continue producing and enjoying.

I’m very sad to she her go but I have to many horses and not enough time to ride and produce them all.
