🌟 For Sale: Maggie – Sweet 6-Year-Old Mare with Loads of Potential 🌟
🌸I purchased Maggie from the Andrew and Wilson auctions in June/July 2025. At the time, she was lightly handled and quite nervous, but she’s come a long way with consistent care and patience.🌸

🦄Maggie is a beautiful, willing mare who’s eager to learn and improve. She’s been started under saddle and is progressing well—though she can be a bit stubborn at times, she’s never bucked, pigrooted, kicked, or bitten. With a little more work, she’d make a fantastic lead-line pony or kids’ horse🦄

✅ Training Milestones Achieved:
• Halter trained and leads well 
• Started under saddle (walk/trot basics)
• Accepts saddle, bridle, and rider calmly
• Stands quietly for farrier (no fuss)
• Comfortable being rugged
• Used to mixed feeds and gaining condition
• Has been floated once - loaded perfectly. 
• Learning to yield hindquarters and forequarters
• Beginning to respond to voice and leg cues

‼️ negatives about Maggie: 
• Can be a little hard to catch
• Needs a gentle, confident handler to continue her progress
• Unfortunately, my other horses don’t get along with her - I don’t have a suitable space to keep her safe. She’s too small to be in with them and I don’t want her getting hurt—she has way too much potential to risk that.
