Wonder Rub “Beau”. Up for sale due to no fault of his own. Beau is a lovely 4 year old approx 16.2hh unmeasured Dark bay thoroughbred gelding. Beau retired due to being a bleeder but this doesn’t affect him. We haven’t had Beau long but he has shown that he is very quiet and a very willing horse. Beau has done trail rides, ridden around the farm near cows, we have cracked whips around him. He has also done obstacles such as bridges, tarps, curtains, pole work, we have jumped him very little on the lunge and has shown he can jump, but haven’t jumped him under saddle as he is still young. Beau is great on the flat is lovely and soft can get a bit forward but easy to bring back. Beau does require a confident and experienced rider as he is still young and green and requires someone with patience, he has never bucked, bolted, reared. He can pull back when hard tied and can move around when anxious, he also loves his friends so can pace the paddock when no horses are near him, he was also paddocked with the same horse before we got him, we have paddocked him by himself and has been fine with a horse next to him. We have had him in a straight load and travels great. Beau really loved trail riding and was happy to be in the front or in the back. Beau is currently barefoot and doesn’t get foot sore, he does have a scar on his near side front hoof but is sound and doesn’t affect him. Beau is a lovely horse I think he would enjoy a trail home and a loving home.
