Monkey, as he is known at home, is a very intelligent and quiet pony who has been with our family since he was broken in as a 3 year old! He is suited as a second pony or for a small adult getting back into riding. Monkey has been ridden by people of all ages, including as a leadline pony for small children. He is a true allrounder and has experience showing, showjumping, dressage, cross country schooling, polo x, pony club, sporting and cattle work. 

Monkey could be a pony dressage prospect, winning his first prep dressage test with 68%. Monkey is jumping 60-70cm ( or D grade pony club) however has the ability to go higher. He has never refused a jump or spooked at fill/ bunting, and only requires a snaffle bit. Monkey has been cross country schooling where he has done brushes, ditches, water and other jumps up to 65cm fences. He opens up well in his canter and has never spooked or baulked at a jump.

 Monkey is good for farrier, float etc. Sometimes when coming back into work he will do a small pigroot or be a little pushy on the ground, however is only being ridden once or twice a fortnight and this isn’t an issue and is perfect when he is in full work.

With good confirmation, rare colouring and willingness to please, Monkey is suited to any discipline! This is a rare opportunity to purchase a genuine pony club mount who can be ridden by the whole family. He has a gorgeous personality and is always the first to the gate to say hello. He is a very cheeky Monkey!
