We’ve had Chile 2 years (since he finished racing). He’s the quietest TB we could find, very sweet and chilled, not hot or spooky. Excellent to catch, handle, tie up, cross tie, worm, hot shoe, rug etc. Riding he is the same alone or in company, fine in a busy warm up. Happy in a small herd or in his own paddock.

He’s been let down post racing, trained up and had lots of outings. Well established Prelim dressage, started competing Novice. Has good leg yield, shoulder in. Consistent Eventing to 65cm, always finishes top 10, often top 5, usually on his dressage score (no jumping or time penalties).

Unfortunately my daughter loves dressage and Chile is just not that interested in it. He’s a handy jumper, only competing 65cm as it’s her limit, clever on his feet, locks onto the jumps (SJ & XC), will jump higher with a bolder rider. Good with ditches and water XC.

We’ll be sad to see him go but he’ll be happier with someone who wants to do more than just dressage. Would suit a capable rider looking for a fun partner to do anything from eventing to trails. Not suited for beginner / first horse as he is still a young TB.
