Meet Maxie 🐭

 

5yo 16hh thoroughbred gelding

 

Raced as 'Circuit Maximus' in Hong Kong, (Deep Field x Flying Therese) retired in January 2025

 

Suited to a competent amateur, with ongoing coaching Maxie will make the sweetest dressage/eventer/happy hacker - turns his hoof to anything! 

 

What Maxie lacks in 'bling' he more than makes up for in personality, he loves cuddles and has the softest snaffle mouth along with great voice commands under saddle

 

He is bold and brave with no spook/buck/bolt, has 3 comfortable paces and is used to farm machinery etc. Popping a course of 70cm jumps happily and plods around open spaces calmly. Been cross country schooling and showing huge potential, not fazed by anything.

 

Maxie is showing a lot of natural ability, although he is still learning so will definitely need someone to guide him along the way, hence why he wouldn't be suited to a complete beginner however I have no doubt that in time he would be fine for children & beginners.
