Introducing Teddy!

He is a quality large pony with the kindest nature

Teddy will give everything a go, he walks through deep water, trots off the motorbike, leads off other horses, has done hours and hours of trail riding, been to the beach with dogs running up to him, he was perfectly behaved. He really seems to enjoy himself out and about.

He will happily walk along on a long rein just taking it all in. We ride on roads and bush tracks and he doesn’t care about cars or dirt bikes, other horses running up the fence lines, kangaroos etc, he’s very easy going!

He is easy to catch, lead, hard ties, tack up, float, trim, worm etc A very easy pony to deal with.

He has done children’s riding lessons, children’s trail rides, holiday programs etc. Happily pops over some small jumps, keeps his head around the XC The only thing he doesn’t love is being lunged (luckily he doesn’t need to be anyway) and being ripped in the mouth, and will lift his head and look worried, so a rider who can keep their hands still would suit better, no beginners who pull on reins.

We have been mucking around with some collection, laterals, working on balance etc, he is still a little green in this area but try’s his heart out and no dirt has been displayed whatsoever. He will be a flash dressage pony with continued education he is so willing and picks everything up so quickly.

He has foundered with previous owner years ago, he is sound and doesn’t wear shoes. Obviously being spring he is managed like all ponies should be.

Teddy would make a lovely all rounder, he’s got the brains, temperament and looks to make it as a performance pony, or just be someone’s trusty cruise around pony.

Would suit confident kids with a little bit of strength in their legs, or a small adult looking for a low fuss partner.
