Show Quality Australian Pony - Leadline

Larkhill Luigi (DOB 11.9.2011), 12.2hh, grey, Australian Pony (no. 80019 in APSB) Suitable for leadline as a too strong/stubborn for first off lead. He has the looks and conformation of a show pony. Luigi is one of the cleverest ponies you will meet. He is more woah than go when in his home environment. When out and about he looks to his adult for a little reassurance at first and then relaxes and then will return to trying to graze even if saddled up (grass reins are very effective). He does have a history of laminitis so looking for a knowledgeable home which will keep him grazing but not allow him to overfeed. This is not a pony to be locked in a yard for hours on end with nothing to do. He requires the stimulation of other horses, a paddock and being part of the family. During all the different weather events over the past few years he stays in our house yard and loves verandah living, licking windows, trying to eat the dog's food etc.  Luigi would live in your house if he could. Luigi thrives on routine and can be dominant towards other horses at feed time but is fine to be groomed and petted by his people while eating. Luigi has been to pony club dozens of time and is happy tied to the float for hours as long as he has a hay bag. Luigi would suit a knowledgeable relaxed, loving family, who can provide him with routine and interaction. Luigi is currently out of work but can be saddled up without lunging after months off.
