Mike finished racing in April 2025, after which he had a proper let down before commencing his retraining.

He completed 8 weeks with a professional OTT retrainer and then came home to his owner who continued on with him without issue.

However due to personal and work commitments, just didn’t have the time to give him consistent work and is currently in training with a dressage professional.

His flat work is soft and relaxed and on the way to being well established, with some very early stage laterals commenced.

Mike wants to be please and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, but takes confidence from his rider, so best suited to an experienced rider to continue to bring out the best in him.

A beautiful horse with lovely free flowing movement, he’s destined for the show or dressage arenas.

He’s an absolute delight to handle on the ground, including clipping, washing, shoeing etc. 

No expense has been spared to give Mike the best opportunity to shine OTT. All the initial hard work has been done and he’s ready to go on with! 

He’s had two outings in show horse environments (including to Werribee Park) which he handled super well, ridden around at both events, standing tied to the float etc.

EDIT:
Mike has not been showjumped (not saying he can’t but it’s not what I do), not suited as a ride once a week pleasure/trail riding horse, he’s a talented, but newly OTT horse.

If you do not have the skills/experience to bring on a horse like Mike, please do not waste my time.
