Luca is a willing trainable young horse who has been handled since birth and has recently been professionally started under saddle by Nat Blundell Equestrian.

He is a kind, willing and balanced young horse with a soft responsive mouth. He has lovely expressive paces, naturally uphill movement and nice regular rhythm that will excel in the dressage arena. Luca has a lot of heart and is willing to have a crack at anything. He is a truly fun and relatively easy little guy to ride. Luca has spent the last 6 weeks learning the ropes under saddle with a good mix of exposure to the arena, pole work, happy to go over small jumps and logs, and general hacking out.

He is now ready for someone to continue his education. Luca is great to catch, lead and float and is well behaved for the farrier, vet and dentist. He has been exposed to general farm environments, including machinery, dogs, cattle, sheep, kangaroos, alpacas and goats.

Luca can be a little apprehensive to new experiences but once mastered, he moves on and is ready to excel in his next task. He would benefit from consistent exposure to new environments.

Luca will be best suited to a soft, confident rider who can continue to develop his education. He would make a lovely dressage pony, show, pony club or all rounder. He will only be offered to the absolute best of people.

He is currently in work and starting to develop his jumping skills and loving it!
