Cherry (‘Over the Bay’) is a 16-year-old Bay mare and an exceptional well-educated all-rounder ridden by a 13YO. Unfazed by heavy machinery, livestock, dogs, wildlife, and road traffic, she is a dependable, bombproof horse. She has safely carried riders of all ages and experience levels, handling everything from lead-line work to independent walk and trot with ease. Excellent to handle in every respect, Cherry is straightforward to shoe, float, worm, catch, rug, vaccinate, and manage for both farrier and vet, She is not paddock bossy and stays out of horses way and will usually walk right up to you. She boasts a sound health history and maintains her condition when relocating.

A proven performer across multiple disciplines, Cherry jumps up to 70cm confidently, has tackled 60–80cm cross-country courses and cleared 105cm in a ‘Chase Me Charlie’ earlier this year. With a solid foundation in campdrafting and stock work, she shows athletic turns and great braveness around cattle. She scored a competitive 70% on her maiden Prelim Novice dressage test and is exceptionally brave and willing on trails. Well-traveled and hassle-free, she has extensive outing experience at Pony Club, agricultural shows, and off-property events.

No buck, Bolt, Bite, Kick or Rear when in consistent work. Does have a bit of exciting moments when coming into work after a few months eg bunny hop but other than that is completely sensible, Allows people to walk underneath her, Slide off the back of her, Bareback, Stand up on her. Will never kick and is completely ground safe. She can get hot when in a Jump Off and is forward to leg in cases therefore will not sell to a complete beginner home.

She is a horse who will rely on her rider in a lot of situations, She is voice commanded while lunging and will Walk, Trot, Canter and come to the middle of the circle when asked. ‘ Woah ‘ Will get her to slow down when riding as she is much of a listener undersaddle.

Like stated before, She is more Go then Woah So a balanced rider who knows how to communicate to a horse through their Seat, Half halts, Core, Voice to regulate her pace rather than just pulling back on the reins.

Cherry is currently in training at Bimbadeen Park, and her price will appreciate accordingly as her education progresses. Offered for sale through no fault of her own, she is regretfully available solely due to property capacity and financial constraints. Having been a cherished partner since 2024, she will be sold exclusively to an approved, educated home.
