It is with a very heavy heart that I am offering Peter his next home. This is an extremely difficult decision and is through no fault of his own. Due to a change in personal circumstances, I am looking for the perfect person to continue Peter’s journey and give him the time, care and education he deserves.

Peter is a stunning, eye-catching gelding with a beautiful temperament and a lot of potential to offer the right rider. He has never raced, only trialled, and is Equimillion eligible.

Peter shows genuine talent and interest in jumping, with plenty of scope and the potential to continue progressing with someone wanting to produce a talented performance horse. He also enjoys hacking and has the presence and movement to be a lovely hack prospect.

Peter has attended outings and has been ridden by an experienced 15-year-old rider, including an Interschools competition where he behaved beautifully. He and his rider have also had professional lessons to further his education, and he has shown himself to be a willing and quick learner.

When Peter is in consistent work and a regular routine, he is calm, relaxed and an enjoyable horse to ride. He has a beautiful rocking-horse canter and goes kindly in a snaffle. With an experienced and capable rider, he has the ability to continue developing across multiple disciplines.

Due to personal circumstances, Peter is currently out of work and is being sold in paddock condition. When returning into work, he can be a little sensitive and nervous initially, but settles quickly once he has consistency, routine and clear direction.

Peter is an honest horse who requires an experienced rider and knowledgeable horse home. He can get excited in new environments but adapts well with a confident and patient handler.

Peter has had a previous negative experience with floating and can be hesitant to load. He requires someone willing to continue patient float training. Once loaded, he travels well.

Peter is easy to handle, rug, shoe and manage. He is a genuine horse with a lot to offer, and my priority is finding him a home where he will be loved, appreciated and given the opportunity to reach his full potential.
