Talented Young Eventer / All Rounder

SV Pride Of Merisi (Vegemite) is a 7yo (2019) 16hh OTT thoroughbred gelding by Caravaggio out of a Bradbury’s Luck mare. I’ve had Vegemite since he finished his racing career as a 4yo, and although he has just turned 7, he already has a lifetime of experience under his belt! Vegemite competed in the Young Event Horse classes at MI3DE in 2024, 2025 (where he placed 5th) & 2026, and this year he also completed the CCN1*L. He is currently competing at the 1* eventing level & 115cm showjumping level with many wins and placings to his name. He is well established on the flat with leg yields, walk to canters, shoulder in, half pass and is learning flying changes.

Although Vegemite is talented and educated for a horse his age, he is still a young TB and therefore requires a confident rider to continue his career and further his education. He would be a fantastic Interschools mount, best suited to a home that wants to have a bit of fun with everything and enjoy the sport. I absolutely adore this horse and hate to see him go, but unfortunately due to lack of time and money something has to go. There is nothing to say that with the right amount of time and education that Vegemite won’t be a superstar for the future, but as I currently have 9 horses in work, he just needs more time than I can give him at this stage. He is a quirky boy, full of character and he deserves to be someone’s number 1 best friend!
