Dora has been with me for the past two years, and in that time she’s been exposed to a huge variety of experiences. We’ve done countless weekends away, adult riding club days, trail rides, clinics and lessons.

She is great on the trails and is happy to head out alone or in company.

While she isn’t an overly bold horse by nature, she incredibly willing and honest. She’s happy to lead, sit at the back of the group, and will happily go as fast or as slow as you ask on trails. We have recently started jumping, which she seems to really enjoy.

Dora can become hot and stressed in very busy environments I’ve found, however she remains willing and continues to try for her rider. Because of this, she would best suit a confident and capable adult rider wanting a genuine all-round pleasure horse rather than a high-pressure competition mount. She would even be suitable for an older teen.

She would absolutely thrive with rider wanting a lovely natured horse to enjoy local trail rides, clinics here and there, and a consistent, quieter and predictable lifestyle.

A fantastic doer who holds her weight in all seasons, currently barefoot, and up to date with all health checks.

Has had one foal in the past with previous owner and was a fantastic mum.

She truly is one of the sweetest mares you could come across. Dora is fantastic with every horse she meets - mares or geldings she gets along with them all.

She also forms an incredibly close bond with her person and loves deeply once she trusts you.Finding her a kind, understanding and special home is extremely important to me.

Very heartbreaking sale as I truly love this mare, however my future riding goals don’t align.
