Travis – 7yo Thoroughbred Gelding

Travis is a beautiful 7-year-old, approx 16hh bay Thoroughbred gelding. He trialled three times before retiring from racing and came straight to me three years ago to begin his retraining.

Travis is a very quiet, willing and scopey jumper with a lovely nature. He has competed up to 90cm and trained up to 1m at home, with plenty of scope to continue progressing. He has established flying changes and a beautiful jump, with much more “woah” than go.

He has competed indoors, travelled regularly between VIC and NSW and is an excellent traveller and floater. Travis has also been ridden out on trails and is good around dogs, cars, cattle and other horses. He can occasionally get a little excitable out and about, so would be best suited to a confident rider.

He is good to shoe, catch and handle and is generally a straightforward, easy horse to have around.

A lovely horse with plenty of potential for someone wanting a quiet, capable and willing partner to continue on with.
