Ultimate Pleasure/Allrounder Mare

16hh, 17yo, Bay Thoroughbred Mare

Cherry (OverTheBay)

RUNTHROUGH

Cherry is a talented and reliable pleasure horse,

She’s educated on the flat and loves XC she has also been to pony club too.

Not a first horse as she is more Go than Woah

Requires a experienced rider who understands thoroughbreds,

She is not much of a fuss to have and is husband proof to an extent,

She plods for pony rides under supervision and will

take care of friends and family.

SUITABILITY

Previously trained up to 105 but seems to not enjoy showjumping

as she can get bored of it and will not focus on her task, Therefore

Showjumping and Eventing is not ideal for her

discipline currently. She is able to jump up to 90XC with the right rider

as she has done it before but she does not have the confidence to do so at this moment.

She loves when she has something to think about or do when riding which makes

her a great horse for Stock work or Camp draft

She can be a happy plodder but a forward going horse when needed,

She can turn nicely on her hocks from her past experience with cows.

She has completed Prelim Novice Dressage with a score of (77%)

In her final test and has been to a lot of outings, Pony clubs, Beaches. She does

not get homesick and will not put up a fuss.

ABOUT HER
She is easy to handle and self loads angled or straight,

Does not throw a trailer fuss and does not scramble around.

She is barefoot and has no issue with putting on shoes any time of the year.

She is fairly low maintenance and a catch you in the paddock type of horse.

She will not bite you, kick you, stomp you, crush you and if spooked she will

not take off and trample you.

She is sensible and is extremely vocally orientated so she will

enjoy if you talk to her on the ground or undersaddle.

She is a sound horse and hasn’t had an issue with lameness or injury’s,

She does not require heavy join supplements she just has Hay and Pellets.

REASON FOR SALE

Rider is a young teenager wanting a fun horse to go up the levels of showjumping and eventing with

unfortunately Cherry does not want to continue to do so, She has the potential

and the Scope to do so with bravery over fences as she has never once spooked at any

but the rider does not have time to continue her education.
