George is a 16.2hh, 15 year old Thoroughbred gelding with a wealth of experience and a temperament that makes him the ideal schoolmaster. He is the perfect partner for a rider looking to step up, return to competition, or gain confidence on a genuine and educated horse. George has competed up to 1.15m and is exceptionally honest and reliable both over fences and on the flat. He is soft in the contact, laterally responsive, and well balanced, making him a pleasure to ride and train. George is an extremely safe horse who has also had people learn to ride on him. 

George is currently in full work and competing regularly. He has extensive show experience and handles new environments with ease. He offers his rider confidence and reliability every time he steps in the ring.

On the ground, George is a delight to have around, easy to catch, shoe, float, and handle. He is well-mannered for the vet, farrier, and dentist, and travels happily in both floats and trucks. He has no vices and is fully up to date with all care.

George would best suit a capable junior or amateur rider looking for a safe and experienced partner to learn and grow with. He would be a valued addition to any home.
