Expected mature height: 17.1–17.3hh

Colour: Dun with dorsal stripe

This beautiful, quiet boy has been with me since he was a 6-month-old foal. I originally anticipated he would mature around 15.3–16hh, however he is definitely going to be a big horse and will mature well over 17hh — and unfortunately he will simply be too big for me.

He was thoughtfully rested for 18 months to allow him to grow and mature correctly into his body. His training has been taken slowly and correctly, with many short rides followed by breaks to ensure he remains calm, confident and willing.

He is now back under saddle and proving to be a pleasure to work with.

I have been fully involved in every stage of his training — from breaking in through to under saddle work — and he has been incredibly rewarding to bring along.

As he is still young, he does require an experienced and confident handler both on the ground and under saddle. He can be cheeky at times (as young horses can be). He can be quick with his back legs if startled, however when handled correctly and calmly — including by the farrier — he is very settled and respectful.

This boy has been produced with patience and care and will only be sold to the very best home.
