Andrew Nicholson (NZL) has taken over as world number one in the HSBC Rankings after the London 2012 Olympic Eventing competition in Greenwich Park. Nicholson, captain of New Zealand’s bronze medal-winning team at London 2012, is now 46 points clear of William Fox-Pitt (GBR) who had led the HSBC Rankings since April. Australia's three member Dressage team comprising Lyndal Oatley, Kristy Oatley and Marra Hanna will contest the team's event on Thursday 2 August after their horses successfully passed the horse inspection at Greenwich overnight. It’s D-day for New Zealand’s sole dressage representative at the London Olympics. Louisa Hill and her stunning horse Bates Antonello (AJ) will compete in the individual dressage competition Friday morning at 2.02am (NZ time) and 12.02am (Australian time). For the 50-year-old from Auckland, who is competing at her second Olympics, it will be a relief to get underway after a rather challenging preparation.... News Search
