ABCRA National Finals Campdraft

National Finals Campdraft was two days of great competition.  Round two was full of high scores, April Langridge and Jeka won the Maiden Horse with 90 points.  Lachlan Maxwell scored an 89 to win the Novice Horse on Moonlight.  Allan Young and his great horse Acres Liberty Beau were first in the Open Horse with 90 points.  Wayne Murray rode Kookaburra for a win in the Open Rider and Tammy Overton took out round two of the Ladies.  Lochie Argue rode Ruby for a win in round two of the Encouragement.  Sam Colwell scored 88 points on Cedar to win the Junior event and Justin Gillis took out the Juvenile on Sundance.

Round Three came down to the wire as titles drew to a close and National Finals average titles were on the line.  Tracy Fitzgerald won the Maiden Horse on Maverick with 90 points.  Troy Palmer and Replica showed their true form winning the Novice Horse with 90 points.  Troy also won the Open Horse with the great Impressive Destiny.  Peter Connor and Grouse put an awesome round together marking 92 points and taking home a win in the Open Rider.  Kerri Mitchell and Charm won round three of the Ladies while Simon McCutcheon took out the Encouragement.  Zeb Pearce and Classic scored a 90 to win the Junior’s and it was Bevan Wood and Duration who took home the honours in round three in the Juvenile.

It was a great three rounds of competition with great horse and rider skills on display.  Thanks to the competitors and the sponsors for making it a great National Finals Campdraft.
