A Horse Training Experience of a Life-time in France with Magali Delgado & Frédéric Pignon

On 14-22 October 2013 you could be part of an amazing horse training experience!

Ribbleton are an Australian based horse training, coaching and breeding business with a difference. Their focus is on helping you to create a connection and approach with your horse that results in your horse wanting to work with you willingly. Paulette from Ribbleton comments "it does not matter which discipline you come from be it dressage, NHM, jumping or pleasure, because no matter what you do with your horse we are all looking to improve our connection. Many people have described my work as “relationship coaching”, that is helping you to get a better relationship with your horse." Paulette utilises liberty and groundwork to help her understand the horse and owner and guide them to a better partnership.

We asked Paulette who she trains with to help her on her path with horses. The main people are Frédéric Pignon and Magali Delgado based in the beautiful Provence, France. Paulette commented "I have been training with them for over 2 years and I can say they are two of the most wonderful people I have met. Their training comes from such a compassionate place for the horse and the trainer. They are extremely humble and enjoy working with beginners as much as advanced horse people. I can't speak highly enough of their work!".

The Delgado family have been breeding horses all their lives. This has given both Magali and Frédéric the opportunity to immerse themselves in the life of horses in a herd situation and discover how this information translates to the education of horses outside of the herd. These learning’s have taken Magali and Frédéric to the world stage in both artistic performing (they were the co-creators of Cavalia amongst many other shows) to world class dressage competition with Magali competing in International Level Grand Prix Dressage. In 2002 at the Grand Prix in Essen, Magali was runner-up. The judges commented how wonderful it was to see a horse that appeared calm and unstressed after such a demanding a test. At Essen in 2004, after Magali stunned the competition for a second time, the organiser asked her if they would do a liberty demonstration at the evening gala!

Ribbleton are very excited to be able to present an exclusive horse training experience of a life-time in France with Magali Delgado & Frédéric Pignon. This will be the first time that Magali and Frédéric have working privately with such a small group. Just imagine, 7 days in Provence, France amongst beautiful Lusitano, Spanish and Friesian horses and the privilege of sharing in the vast knowledge of Magali & Frédéric to help us all in our quest to be the best we can be for our horses.
