Day 21: Ranvet Topline FX®

Ranvet’s Topline FX^® is an exclusive complete protein, amino acid, mineral and vitamin supplement combined into a single pellet, whereby you add your own grain and chaff to control the growth rate and muscle development.  Ranvet’s protein supplements provide high levels of essential amino acids, which promote muscle development, growth and the release of metabolic hormones such as insulin and growth hormone.  High levels of certain amino acids also play a role in the immune response. 

The primary cause of poor topline in performance horse’s is the lack of a quality source of protein within the daily ration. Pasture and other commonly ingested, fibrous sources of protein differ significantly in the crude protein levels, amino acid profile and overall digestibility within the gastro-intestinal tract (GIT). Provision of a concentrated source such as Topline FX which contains high levels of lysine and methionine can be used to maximise the efficiency of utilisation and degree of muscle building when used in conjunction with routine exercise. For a source of protein such as Topline FX to be fully effective, routine exercise is required to stimulate muscle fibre, following which protein is laid down and muscle hypertrophy is achieved.
