Day Four - National Interschool Championships - Results & Photos

Following a another great day of competition, the National Interschool Championships wrapped up Friday evening with prize presentations and an emotional closing ceremony, where the Queensland team passed the flag onto Western Australia, who will be holding the 2013 Nationals.

Queensland were the overall winners on 2471 points, New South Wales were second on 1981 and Western Australian third on 1206.

Although everyone was tired from the long week of competition there were still plenty of smiles and many competitors came away with prizes that included beautiful trophy rugs and saddlecloths.

The winner of the Sportsmanship award and the rug signed by all competitors was Michael Han of South Australia, who is pictured at far left with Team Spirit winners.

Congratulations to all winners and placegetters and indeed all competitors - you were a credit to your states!
