Driven to Excell-ence Workshop

World Champion Driver Boyd Exell will be in Australia during February 2011. On 21-22 February he will conduct a workshop at "Witwood" in Bungendore NSW . 
 
On the Monday, Boyd will collaborate with Australia Dressage Team member Brett Parbery to inspire and educate coaches, officials and competitors from all disciplines.
 
 
 
Brett and Boyd will discuss International Level competition including their experiences at the recent World Cup Finals and WEG.
Topics will include what it takes to prepare themselves, their grooms and horses both physically and mentally.
There will be demonstration and discussion the training, performance and judging of the dressage (driven and ridden).
 
More specifically for drivers, Boyd will cover
  • Update with the latest FEI Rules for Carriage Driving
     
     
  • Brush up technical skills at driving cones & obstacles
     
  • Fine tune your knowledge in the art of dressage (both driven and ridden)
  • See demonstrations in all three phases.
     
A timetable will be available shortly noting when specialist and general sessions are being held.  
 
Attendance at this clinic will count for "update points" for all coaches and officials. 
A "Compulsory Update" component  for EA NCAS Coaches will also be incorporated (presented by EA National Office staff).
