East Moreton Branch ASHS T-Shirt Hack Day: 10 February - NEW DATE!

The East Moreton Branch of the Australian Stock Horse Society are holding a T-Shirt Hack Day on Sunday 10 February at Woodford Showgrounds.

This event was originally scheduled for 27 January but was called off due to the forecast of torrential rain and cyclonic conditions, which arrived right on time!

The show will kick off at 8am and is open to all breeds (registered and non-registered).

There will be a Supreme Ridden horse in each of the four rings with garlands, sashes and prize packs to be won.

Dress for the day is casual and you can compete in a t-shirt or plain shirt and riding pants or jeans, however, an approved safety helmet, riding boots and a safe saddle and bridle must be used. Saddles can be english, stock or western.

The four rings will cater to all different levels of horses and riders:

Ring 1: Lead line walk & trot classes only

Ring 2: Walk & trot classes, simple workouts (no canter)

Ring 3: 3yo and under horses, walk, trot and canter workouts

Ring 4: Open - walk, trot and canter - more advanced with 'real show' workouts.

Classes for adults and children, registered and unregistered horses and ponies are featured in the program.

Entry for the day is a single fee of $60 (for non ASHS members - includes insurance) and $30 for ASHS members. This is for one horse/rider combination and covers entry to all classes for which the horse and rider qualify.

Organiser, Kym Neate, wants to encourage people to nominate online, saying, "The first 50 people to nominate online or via a postal entry for the T-Shirt Hack Day will receive a free Sample Bag full of goodies with Horse Related Products! Please do not send nominations by post after Monday 21 January as we may not receive them in time."
