About Dressage & Jumping with the Stars

The event was first conceived when Champion European rider and trainer Anky Van Grunsven visited Australia in 1998 to present a dressage master class.

Rising to the occasion organisers decided to enhance the event by combining it with ayoung dressage horse competition, which is now the all Australian Young Dressage Horse Championships with qualifying events across Australia run under official Equestrian Australia rules.

Since it inception in 1998, the event has become the most prestigious young horse event in Australia and in 2002 Dressage with the Stars introduced the Young Jumping Horse Championship and it became Dressage & Jumping with the Stars.
