“There are always plenty of bargains picked out of Inglis Thoroughbred Sales such as Avienus, which was purchased from the Sydney Autumn Thoroughbred Sale a few years ago for a fraction of her current value,” Inglis Sydney Director Jonathan D’Arcy points out.
Avienus was purchased as an unraced three-year-old for $20,000 at the 2008 Inglis Sydney Autumn Thoroughbred Sale by Richard Anderson. The daughter of Reset has won $540,000 in prizemoney since, including a valuable Group Two victory.
This Friday’s broodmare section includes daughters of Flying Spur, Royal Academy, Canny Lad and Street Cry plus stakes winner Sutton Review.
There is a good selection of racehorses in the catalogue including stakes placed Butt I’m Ready, city winners Apparitions and Pteryon, plus plenty unraced and lightly raced stock.
Printed catalogues will be available for collection at Newmarket from lunchtime on Thursday.
The sale will be broadcast on Inglis Sale Day live, with Online Bidding and Make-An-Offer available for those buyers unable to attend the Newmarket complex on Friday.
