Further to our report late last month about British celebrity and equestrienne, Katie Price, being fined for talking on her mobile and driving dangerously in her horsebox, it doesn't seem to have affected her street (or horse) cred, as Horsebox manufacturer Equi-Trek have teamed up with Katie's KP Equestrian, to produce a glamorous range of horse transport aimed at the female driver.

Katie says: "I'm so excited about the new horsebox and trailer range Equi-Trek have made for my KP Equestrian brand. They are both have my added touch of glamour and sparkle! I can't wait to take my horses out in them."

A box and two trailers are now available in the KP Equestrian range — the KP Trail Treka trailers and the KP Sonic, 3,500kg horsebox.

The Trail Treka 'M' has a gross weight of 2,000kg to enable it to be towed by smaller 4x4s and some cars, while the Trail Treka 'L' has a gross weight of 2,500kg for those wishing to carry larger horses.

And the KP versions (from £4,650 +VAT) have the added sparkle you expect from KP Equestrian, and come in black with a large logo in sparkly turquoise on the side.

But if pink is more your colour, the KP Sonic (from £23,695 +VAT) is a compact, two-horse box, with a gross maximum weight of 3,500kg, meaning it can be driven on a standard car licence.

Painted in bright metallic pink with the same sparkly KP Equestrian logos as the Trail Treka, this is a vehicle that will stand out in the lorry park.

The cab is equipped with high-quality leather seats with KP crests on each headrest and the separate tack/changing area features two pink bridle racks, a double saddle rack and a seat with pink cushions as standard.

The horse area has a special pink padded partition and a pink head divider usually sold as extras but included in this pink package.

Am guessing this model isn't readily available in Australia just yet, but if you would like to find out more, go to www.equi-trek.com and to see more of the KP Equestrian range, visit www.kpequestrian.co
