NSW Regional Dressage Festival Series

Dressage NSW is delighted to announce the Events that will form part of the inaugural Regional Dressage Festival Series in 2013.

Through the support of Equestrian NSW we are able to pass on a cash contribution to the Clubs conducting these events as an incentive for them to be part of the series.

Our aim is to support the development of dressage in the regional areas.  We look forward to having more clubs involved with the Festival in the future.

The Events confirmed for the 2013 Festival include:

The Horseland Canberra Classic

Conducted by the ACT Dressage Association, Equestrian Park, Canberra

16 – 17 March 2013

Official competitions and Champions at all levels including pony, prizes and rugs on offer.  All tests will be ridden on our superb sand/rubber arenas including a huge warm up arena. Stabling and yards available on site, and there are local agistment options nearby. Enter via www.globalentriesonline.com.au. Entries close 17th February.

The Donges Supa IGA Championships

Conducted by the Young Dressage Association

19 – 21 April 2013

Held at the picturesque Bendick Murrell Sportsground between Young and Cowra.

The venue features 5 sand arenas, large sand warm up arena, rubber lined stables & yards, camping facilities with plenty of shade and parking. Generous prize money and Champion rugs. Happy hour on Saturday afternoon while watching the Freestyles

Upper Hunter Dressage Championships

Conducted by the Upper Hunter Dressage Association

Date to be confirmed (late June-early July)

Held at White Park, Scone (The Horse Capital of Australia) 

Official and Associate competitions featuring all levels from Preliminary to Grand Prix.  Prize money and rugs for Champions. Sand arenas and sand topped grass arenas, plenty of stabling and camping on site.  The venue is located within walking distance to local RSL Club, restaurant’s, hotels and cafes.

Far North Coast Championships

Conducted by Summerland Dressage Club

31 August – 1 September 2013

Held at Bangalow Showground, Bangalow

The show grounds are set in the village of Bangalow which is of historical significance with a wide range of cafes and boutique stores.  Preliminary to Grand Prix competitions with prize money offered. Sand topped dressage arenas, stabling and camping facilities.
