Pony Club riders from all over NSW and some parts of Queensland and Victoria are busily preparing for the NSW State Combined Championships being held in Camden from the 2nd-10th July 2016.The event marks the biggest multi-discipline Pony Club Championship in NSW since 2009, with over 780 entries received across 6 equestrian disciplines.

Being held at the Bicentennial Equestrian Park in Camden, the event will showcase two Olympic equestrian disciplines of Dressage and Showjumping, as well as the very popular Showriding and Jumping Equitation events. For the first time, Combined Training has also been included in the State Championship program, where riders participate in both Dressage and Showjumping phases for a combined total score.

Major Sponsors Horseland and Mitavite have provided excellent prizes and awards for successful competitors, as well as donations from Australia’s HorseWyse Magazine, Starlight Browbands, Equissentials, and Equitana Melbourne.

The Bicentennial Equestrian Park in Camden will be home to 452 horses, 436 riders and their supportive families throughout the 9 days of competition. Spectators are also welcome to attend the free event which will see equestrian trade stands and a canteen operating every day of the Championships. The Showjumping will commence on Saturday 2nd – Sunday 3rd July, followed by the Showriding on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th, Jumping Equitation on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th, Dressage on Friday 8th & Saturday 9th, and Combined Training Championships to be held on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July.
