Roberto Rasia is arriving in Australia next week and is doing saddle fits in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney along with extensive seminars on saddle fitting issues. He has been at the head of saddle innovation and research in Europe for the last 28 years and is a man with incredible knowledge and passion for improving performance and comfort for horses through saddlefitting. 

He worked for 25 years of with Prestige Italia Spa, fifteen of those as head of the Research and Development department, designing saddles for some of the world’s top riders such as Meredith Beerebaum and Michel Robert.  His wealth of technical knowledge and long term experience has led him to an ambitious project: the launching of Erreplus Saddlery srl.

Erreplus Saddlery is unique in that it a team of equitation experts who work together, listening carefully to what horse and riders have to say, in order to transform this dialogue into absolutely innovative saddles.  This process allows the saddles to be carefully trialled, adapted and refined with the help of world class riders who all have an input into how the saddles can allow them to reach their peak performance.

Performance Saddlefits has the opportunity to host his visit and to offer the opportunity for horse owners and riders to hear Roberto Rasia speaking about saddlefitting, innovation and design for the modern sport horse.  These Saddlefitting Seminars will provide a greater understanding of how saddles influence horse and rider biomechanics and performance at all levels and how to improve fit to maximise that performance.

Silver Olympic Gold medallist Adelinde Cornellisen has loved working with Roberto and the Erreplus team and has proudly put her name to the new Erreplus Adelinde dressage saddle. Other top riders to rave about the saddles and join the Erreplus team include 3 x Olympic Champion Showjumper Jerry Smit,  Olympic medallist Christian Ahlmann  and in Australia, our own 4* Eventer John Twomey is loving the ride in the Erreplus Eventer jumping saddle.
