Snowy Mountains Interschools Equestrian Competition: 17-19 May

The Snowy Mountains Grammar School will be hosting the Snowy Mountains Interschools Equestrian Competition on 17-19 May at 'The Station' Jindabyne.

Horsezone is proud to be sponsoring this event once again.

The program will be as follows:

Friday– Dressage, Stock Horse Challenge and Sporting events,  Open Barrel Race heats and final, Primary and Secondary 6-Bar Showjumping event

Saturday– 3 Rings of Showjumping, Sporting, Showman classes, The Ultimate Interschools Challenge, Fancy Dress Schools Spectacular

Sunday– full Gymkhana Program, Showjumping, Schools Parade and Presentations

Entries should be completed online at www.globalentriesonline.com.au by Wednesday 8 May.

All school students are eligible to enter the competitions.  A number of prizes will be awarded and there will be ribbons to fifth place in most events. 

All riders will compete for the Champion School Trophy.  An Individual High Point Score Competition will operate in each school year group.  A Schools Parade will be held on Sunday and all riders are asked to participate in School Colours.

Southern Cross Stables and Yards will be available and must be booked when entering online.  It will also be possible for families to build their own yards.

Accommodation and Camping are available at the grounds at very reasonable rates and families should contact The Station direct on 1300 369 909  to make a reservation.  Camping is also available at the grounds.

The Station Stockwhip Bistro & Chargrill Restaurant will be open each morning and evening and the SMGS P & F will run a canteen each day at the venue.
