Stacy Westfall to Present at EQUITANA Sydney 2011!

With just over 7 months to go, the preparations for EQUITANA Sydney are in full swing! Exhibition booths are selling like hot cakes and the education schedule is coming together nicely. This years program will offer a wide range of topics delivered by a great line up of presenters. EQUITANA are extremely thrilled about Stacy Westfall and cannot wait to share with you who else is coming. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements! And forgetting the elite level competition with the inaugural Equestrian Australia Grand Final, there's going to be something for everyone! EQUITANA is thrilled to announce that Stacy Westfall, from Ohio USA, will be coming to Sydney this November! She developed her natural horsemanship techniques while advancing her horses for reining competition, with the goal to make reins unnecessary – literally. She succeeded, stunning the reining world by going undefeated for two straight years in major freestyle reining competitions. Stacy will be bringing her horsemanship and reining knowledge to Australia presenting her training techniques in the Specialist Horsemanship Clinic. For more information please click here.

EQUITANA will also feature the Equestrian Australia – Australian Grand Final. This competition will showcase the ‘best of the best’ and include 50 top riders from around the country. The Equestrian Grand Final will welcome unprecedented media attention and a competition atmosphere not seen before in Australia. This premiere event, to be held annually, will bring together Australia’s elite Equestrian competitors in Dressage, Jumping and Exhibition Eventing. Big prizes, big action, big excitement. The NCHA Staff and Board of Directors are excited to be supporting the 2011 NCHA Australian Open Series Cutting event at this year’s EQUITANA in Sydney. This year the Open Series Cutting has been introduced as a qualifying event set out over two divisions; the Open and the Open Non Pro. The competitors at the EQUITANA Sydney 2011 finals will have qualified in the Top 15 of each division over a series of 15 Select Cutting Shows including Q11 in Tamworth and the RAS Sydney Royal Cutting. The 2011 NCHA Australian Open Series Cutting is sure to be an exciting showcase of Australia’s elite cutting horses and riders competing for a total of $30,000 prize money in each division.
