Wet Weather Didn't Stop the Fun at Brunswick Valley Gymkhana

Brunswick Valley Pony Club Gymkhana was held on 15 July 2012 and the wet weather conditions didn’t stop the gymkhana going ahead and competitors having a great day. Zone 15 riders from Grafton to Tweed heads attended the gymkhana.  The program had flat riding, dressage, showjumping and sporting events.

Thanks to all our sponsors there was lots of prizes to be won. Also every rider of the day received a rider bag. Thanks to Equilibrium for samples and Horsezone for combs in the bags.

Brunswick Valley ran a super raffle and an auction of jump wings donated by Crisfloats to raise money for the club.

We also ran our new idea where riders could trade unwanted ribbons for tickets into a ribbon raffle. Where we can recycle ribbons and riders have the chance to win prizes.

Thanks to all the helpers from Brunswick Valley club and the many other clubs that pitched in to make the day possible. Thanks also to the riders and judges.

• Junior girl Champion – Billy Johnston , Reserve Champion – Tia Gotterson.
• Junior boy Champion – Seth Johnson , Reserve Champion – Tom Everson (pictured).
• Senior girl Champion – Charlee Anthony, Reserve Champion – Abby Paxton.
• Senior boy Champion – Jake Buckley, Reserve Champion – Clifton Davis.
• Associate Champion – Emily Finberg, Reserve Champion – Makayla Gore.
