Extraordinary horse trainer and showman David Manchon will raise the roof in the Queensland State Equestrian Centre's (QSEC) main arena this weekend!

Moreton Bay Regional Council's Acting Mayor and Councillor for Division Three, Greg Chippendale said David's heart- pounding Rooftop Express extravaganza would saddle-up for QSEC's first birthday celebrations - check out the video below to see what it's all about!

"The arena spectacular will headline a huge day of free family fun and activities at QSEC including Caboolture's Family Fun Day," Cr Chippendale said.

"David is one of the biggest names in the business, well-known for his skill, agility and amazing command over horses, cattle and other performing livestock.

"Whether he is standing on top of a horse or show-jumping raging bulls, the former star of the Australian Outback Spectacular and regular guest presenter on Totally Wild will have you on the edge of your seat."

David said nearly two years of training had gone into training the four legged stars of the show.

"We've tried to create a fun and exciting show for the family. There will be plenty of death-defying stunts and lots of laughs for people of all ages," he said.

"It's an awesome day of animal antics and Aussie humour."

Just before David takes to the stage, the CrackUp Sisters S.T.Ruth and lil B-ute will enthral the crowd with their slapstick humour and crazy stunts.

"As the world's premier female rodeo clowns, the CrackUp sisters truly are the masters of cheeky country charm," Cr Chippendale said.

"To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they took to the air with cracking whips and aerial antics.

"Anything is possible at QSEC's first birthday."

Be sure not to miss any of the action of QSEC's first birthday celebrations and Family Fun Day in Caboolture.

Caboolture's free Family Fun Day kicks off at 10 am on Saturday, 29 September at Queensland State Equestrian Centre on the corner of Tuckeroo Drive and Beerburrum Road in Caboolture.

There will be roving entertainment throughout the day including special guest appearances from superheroes including the Green Lantern and Batman.

A life-size Batmobile will also be there just in case the Rooftop Express gets out of hand and Batman needs to make a speedy exit.

Budding young superheroes can make their very own superhero cape as they take part in the arts and craft activities on offer.
