Claire Seidl and the team at Tennyson Stud have a lot to be excited about right now!

TS Wicked (Worldwide PB x Falcon Crystal) also known as Charlie, Tennyson Stud's up and coming sire, was presented at the ACE Stallion Classification in February. He showed his fabulous temperament by behaving impeccably. He received his Premium status, which places him in the German Stud Book.

Charlie was awarded a 10 for his rideability and temperament, which the assessor reported is the only 10 ever awarded in Australia for rideability. His comments about Charlie were, "He is nice faced and has a good shoulder. A good overtracking walk and engaged in canter. Showing an excellent ability under saddle."

In addition to the excitement over Charlie, Tennyson Stud has been very busy with other great youngsters who are now under saddle and out at competitions and older horses who are starting to move up and make their mark on the scene.

The outstanding TS Whip It (aka Wincy) has been sold and will remain in training with Tennyson Stud and Claire is very pleased to be continuing her partnership with this wonderful horse, who has been renamed TS World Magic.

In recent months, Wincy has been successfully competing in both dressage and jumping, showing the absolute versatility of this exciting Worldwide PB/Society (Sir Tristam) cross. He competed at the Hawkesbury Dressage Championships and scored 74%. He has also jumped at CDI, Sydney Jump Club and the Camden Winter Series. Wincy loves his jumping and it is proving to be a great training tool for him.

The Tennyson Stud team are also busy qualifying the TS youngsters for the 2013 NSW State Dressage Championships. Both TS World Magic and TS Wicked are already qualified. It will be the first year at States with the team of Worldwide PB progeny. They are all still very young and green but it will be great exposure and an important training experience for them all.

TS youngsters making their mark on the competition scene include, Dubai (by D-Day) who has been out competing regularly, is scoring very well and has been beautifully behaved. TS Wildfox has also been out competing with great scores, while TS Wunderbar is working beautifully under saddle and competed at his first ever competition. In absolutely horrid weather, he came home with first place and a great score of 71%. A superb effort and a superstar in the making. TS Wicked has competed in four official tests for four wins all over 70%. At his debut competition at Dressage NSW he scored 75% and 73%, the two highest scores of the entire weekend.

Grand Prix Dressage horse, Rolex, hasn't been leaving all the success to the youngsters! This beautiful horse was ridden at the Hawkesbury Dressage Championships by junior rider, Grace Kay and the pair won Reserve Champion Big Tour Horse. What a gentleman Rolex is! He and Grace achieved this success after Grace had only ridden him a few times. The pair then went on to compete at the recent Young Rider Championships and won both their tests and also the Big Tour Champion! Rolex is currently for sale so if you are looking for a proven Big Tour Horse check him out here.

On the foal front, Tennyson Stud is excitedly anticipating the birth of their first TS Wicked foal in September. Aavalon is the dam and the combination should be fabulous. If you'd like to breed your mares to TS Wicked find out more about him at Stallionzone.
