Introduction: Dream is a truly lovely young horse. She is bred to excel in dressage with the bloodlines, conformation and talent to make it at the top level.
Dream presents an amazing opportunity to take on such a beautiful straight forward young horse, which at 4, is already suitable for a capable junior or amateur rider.
Bloodlines: Dream is sired by Bluefields Dankeschoen is by Desperados FRH out of Florencio/Pik Noir/Top of Class. Blessed with talent, trainability, temperament and excellent work ethic. Bluefields Dankeschoen was the Winner of both 5yo and 6yo Sydney CDI*** Young Horse Championship with a word class score of 9.31.
Dankeschoen is a foal and riding horse producer par excellence siring:
- 2022 ACE Australian-Champion colt
- 2022 ACE Australian-Supreme Champion filly
- 2023 ACE Assessment tour 4 Champion foals in 3 States
- 2023 5yo DWTS Champion
- 2024 ACE Tour - 2 Champion foals and best producing Stallion over all for movements.
Dream is out of Bluefields Rubins Fay, who jumped 140 before retiring to the broodmare paddock. She was by Royal Rubin. In 2007, he was the reserve Westphalian state Champion and the VTV Oldenburg Stallion of the year. In 2018 Rubin Royal was ranked 3rd in the WBFSH Dressage Sire Rankings.
In addition to his own success in sport, Rubin Royal has been an outstanding sire as well. Rubin Royal's Swiss bred daughter, U.S. Latina, was the champion mare of Switzerland, placed in the 2009 World Championships in Verden, sixth in the 2011 Nurnberg Burg-Pokal and was victorious in the iWest-Cup.
Dressage is not the only sport in which Rubin Royal's offspring excel either. In the 2010 Bundeschampionate, Rubin Royal's daughter, Rubinja TE, won the silver medal in eventing, and his daughter, Rubin Joya CH, was the Swiss champion of the 5 yr. old jumpers.
Conformation: Dream has been allowed to mature slowly and, as such, will be sound throughout her competition career. She is a modern, compact and athletic warmblood, just like her parents. Dream’s conformation has enabled her to take to ‘life under saddle’ with willingness and acceptance.
Education, riding and experience: Dream was broken-in at 4 years old in April 2024 by Jack Hayden at Hayden Equestrian. She has been beautifully well started and has an excellent foundation. Dream works softly and shows a natural ability and willingness to collect.
Dream is a ‘no nonsense’ young horse. She is quiet when ridden around the farm and down roads, happy to walk on a trail on a loose rein. Dream is brave, the arena is right next to an 80kmph road with trucks wheezing past. She wants to work and loves to be with people.
Current workload/ fitness: Dream is currently in light work being ridden 1-2 days per week. She is safe to ride after and spell and doesn’t require regular work to be safe and sensible.
Handling: Dream is a ‘dream’ to handle, having had extensive ground work training, she is easy to catch, groom, saddle, wash, float and for the farrier. She had her first body work session and Equissage treatment this week and loved it!
Behaviour: Dream is green but vice free and sensible under saddle.
Feeding and management: Dream does not require any specific feeding or management.
Medical history: Dream does not have any medical issues and has not shown any lameness or pain during breaking and her early education, that would be suggestive of any issues. Dream has been owned by the seller since she was two weeks old and her full history is known to us.
Rider Suitability: Dream requires a competent and capable rider due to her age, size and level of education. She is sensible enough for a teenager or amateur to bring on under supervision.
Reason for sale: Dream is for sale
